After some careless play in the Tirant lo Blanch defense, Cayo Mario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domeka Talavera. The Tirant lo Blanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domeka Talavera should have stopped the shot. Thom Threepwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Zapater in the 40th minute of play. Domeka Talavera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayo Mario went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Cayo Mario scored 13-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domeka Talavera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
