When Teodoro Ramiréz fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tirant lo Blanch's protests and gave Teodoro Ramiréz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Ramiréz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Pelayo Valdivia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Unai Ladra was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Teodoro Ramiréz hit a great ball. Unai Ladra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivón Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Ivón Barroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tirant lo Blanch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campanar City the free kick. In the 39th minute, Ivón Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goal looked a bit too open when Ivón Barroso came free, but Unai Ladra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Campanar City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tirant lo Blanch were winning 0-1.

Unai Ladra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivón Barroso in the 52nd minute of the match. Tirant lo Blanch's Eriberto Segura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Truylos Estrada in the 57th minute of play. If Emiliano Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bertin Vuelta came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Campanar City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertin Vuelta couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Bertin Vuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campanar City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertin Vuelta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Truylos Estrada notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Eriberto Segura. Eriberto Segura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Campanar City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tirant lo Blanch to leave the ground with a draw.
