The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anxo Gómez in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgio March prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Francisco Unzueta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francisco Unzueta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ponte Riba Dil C.F. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francisco Unzueta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.:s Humberto Llorente showed great skill when he stopped Pol Petton:s penalty. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Ponte Riba Dil C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zilar Valdecañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s zone, Saul Roman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Llorente came out of the goal and Saul Roman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper Humberto Llorente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christian Almkvist came free, but Humberto Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Almkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brais Montero in the 24th minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Saul Roman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Roman couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Roman in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Llorente saved Ponte Riba Dil C.F. from getting behind. Christian Almkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Humberto Llorente made a huge save. Javier Pais hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Christian Almkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Humberto Llorente firmly grabbed it by the left post. Humberto Llorente was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Christian Almkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Almkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Christian Almkvist struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Humberto Llorente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07. Humberto Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 42nd minute of play. Saul Roman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Llorente. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes, Pol Petton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 and the Ponte Riba Dil C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ponte Riba Dil C.F. booed when C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pol Petton didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Almkvist made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Almkvist in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Llorente saved Ponte Riba Dil C.F. from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Christian Almkvist in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Zilar Valdecañas's late challenge caught a C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zilar Valdecañas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Ponte Riba Dil C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zilar Valdecañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner. Saul Roman went to the cornerflag to take it. After 59 minutes of play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Llorente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brais Montero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Giorgio March made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Llorente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jairo Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Llorente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Ponte Riba Dil C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Poncio Gómez. Jairo Montes took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Llorente. Humberto Llorente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
