Galsino Barba started the match with the kick off. León FC's Ponc Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save León FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, León FC's Ponc Gómez got control of the ball when Poul Stanković tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Poul Stanković who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but León FC's Ponc Gómez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galsino Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumersindo Moreira having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, León FC's Galsino Barba made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gumersindo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute Poul Stanković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponc Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gumersindo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Abasalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Xinto Torres. Poul Stanković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponc Gómez having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Galsino Barba came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Boniel to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Iñigo Pedrosa came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joey Coello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Gumersindo Moreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Marco Boniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but León FC's Ponc Gómez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iñigo Pedrosa in the 58th minute of play forced Boomer Fc's goalkeeper Gumersindo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León FC's Ponc Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Gaúcho in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to León FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Máximo Pardo hit a great ball. León FC's Chico Zapatero was substituted for Romulo Jaen. After some careless play in the León FC defense, Tito Quintas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ponc Gómez. The León FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ponc Gómez should have stopped the shot. León FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
