Jairo Castellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Roman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrico Del Bosque to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Del Piero made a kick off. In the 56th minute Alessandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgio March came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira. But to his dismay, Curcio Carballeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 67 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Carballeira came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Curcio Carballeira made a precise shot to the right of Giorgio March. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Gervasio Diagur replaced Bonifacio Abascal. Jairo Castellano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Indar Albizua in the 72nd minute. Club Getafe Deportivo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Roman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jairo Castellano was a little too slow when Indar Albizua got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Indar Albizua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Castellano. That made the score 2-3 in the 81 minute of play. 87 minutes in the game, Pol Petton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jairo Castellano having to interfere. With an all-out effort, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Jairo Castellano threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pol Petton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute, Gervasio Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Valeriu Oneț quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iosu Bastida, made in the 91st minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
