Isidro Mendebal went to the cornerflag to take it. Morro Grande E.C's Hélder Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Lauren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gláuber Brodel made a huge save. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. Martin Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Velasco in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Isidro Mendebal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel didn't even have to move. 40 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Ali Picavea came free, but Martin Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C. A. BELGRANO booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Caca-Rato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 51 minutes, Christiano Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the C. A. BELGRANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Trevisan. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Christiano Trevisan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the C. A. BELGRANO defense, Habib Ali Picavea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Rito. The C. A. BELGRANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Rito should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Velasco got free with Martin Rito in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Cedro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Martin Rito. Toninho Grau's late challenge caught a C. A. BELGRANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho Grau helped the player get up and apologised. Toninho Grau hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of C. A. BELGRANO booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Ali Picavea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C. A. BELGRANO's Martin Rito got control of the ball when Hélder Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
