Seating: 3316, VIP seats: 288) In the 4th minute of the match Pakistan got a corner. Kazakhstan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Awan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aleksandr Leonov tried in the 4th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Innokentiy Blyakhin a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Pakistan's Agha Arslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Ponomarev in the 9th minute of play. Innokentiy Blyakhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Tabeer in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Pakistan's Rahman Tabeer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Innokentiy Blyakhin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Klim Kostygin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agha Arslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Pristavkin in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Ponomarev in the 22nd minute of play forced Pakistan's goalkeeper Agha Arslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Kazakhstan's Miroslav Pristavkin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agha Arslan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Rahman Tabeer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kazakhstan's Innokentiy Blyakhin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Innokentiy Blyakhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Tabeer in the 31st minute of play. Rahman Tabeer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Innokentiy Blyakhin having to make a save. Innokentiy Blyakhin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahman Tabeer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pakistan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Razzaq Akbar hit a great ball. When Miroslav Pristavkin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Kazakhstan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Pristavkin couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Miroslav Pristavkin made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pakistan's goalkeeper Agha Arslan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miroslav Pristavkin. Pakistan's Adam Awan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahman Tabeer in the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Pakistan's goalkeeper Agha Arslan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Ponomarev. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inzamam Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Pakistan's Inzamam Khan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Innokentiy Blyakhin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mir Fida in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rahman Tabeer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Innokentiy Blyakhin was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Rahman Tabeer got free in front of the goal in the 88th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Innokentiy Blyakhin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Pakistan's goal looked a bit too open when Klim Kostygin came free, but Agha Arslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Kazakhstan's goal looked a bit too open when Inzamam Khan came free, but Innokentiy Blyakhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martyn Efremov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
