With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klim Kostygin in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Renato Damião saved Esquadrão do Guarana from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Innokentiy Blyakhin. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Esquadrão do Guarana's Paulo Renato Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksimilian Golovnitskiy in the 25th minute of play. Esquadrão do Guarana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 30th minute. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Innokentiy Blyakhin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Innokentiy Blyakhin made a huge save. Slavko Mojsovski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Klim Kostygin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klim Kostygin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klim Kostygin made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquadrão do Guarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maksimilian Golovnitskiy in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Renato Damião, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 58th minute of the match. Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Innokentiy Blyakhin. Innokentiy Blyakhin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 67th minute of play forced Kazakhstan's goalkeeper Innokentiy Blyakhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Damião made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksimilian Golovnitskiy in the 70th minute. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klim Kostygin in the 73rd minute of play forced Esquadrão do Guarana's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazakhstan were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Esquadrão do Guarana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitaliy Vorobey took the corner. Kazakhstan's Vitaliy Vorobey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Renato Damião in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Esquadrão do Guarana's Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Innokentiy Blyakhin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Esquadrão do Guarana's Paulo Renato Damião got control of the ball when Erofey Kurashov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esquadrão do Guarana's Slavko Mojsovski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Georgiy Bezgodov, made in the 81st minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Esquadrão do Guarana's goal looked a bit too open when Klim Kostygin came free, but Paulo Renato Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Esquadrão do Guarana got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Lara. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Esquadrão do Guarana had won after a very even match.
