Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) After some careless play in the Tacuaral FC defense, Nicanor Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Esdras. The Tacuaral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Esdras should have stopped the shot. Claudio Gartzen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Esdras came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudio Gartzen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes Tacuaral FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Telmo. Emilio Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes Tacuaral FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Sancho. Claudio Gartzen struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Abelardo Esdras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Lobos de Amedul. Abelardo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Gartzen in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Tacuaral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Gartzen came free, but Abelardo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Claudio Gartzen in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ciriaco Koldo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Bogdan Cholewa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Corderun went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Bogdan Cholewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Fero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Claudio Gartzen made the kick off in the second half. Tacuaral FC's Abelardo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Ado in the 54th minute of play. Emilio Ado might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Esdras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Ado ran back to his position shaking his head. Emilio Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Abelardo Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Claudio Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emilio Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Higinio Sancho hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tacuaral FC's Abelardo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Gartzen in the 80th minute of play. When Reynaldo Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tacuaral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Corderun couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Cuarto's late challenge caught a Los Lobos de Amedul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Cuarto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Lobos de Amedul booed when Tacuaral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Cuarto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Claudio Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Lobos de Amedul's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Esdras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute Emilio Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tacuaral FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
