Santiago Nerio's late challenge caught a Ayacucho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Nerio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ayacucho FC booed when Taquimilán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. A collision led to Taquimilán getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eustacio Mero hit a great ball. Taquimilán's Cesar Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Seme in the 60th minute of play. Paulino Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julian Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, one of Ayacucho FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jairo Damario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Julian Omero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Seme in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Gutxi saved Taquimilán from getting behind. Ayacucho FC's Julian Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Quilo in the 77th minute of play. If Serafin Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Paulino Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
