Braulio Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Sunderland AFC booed when Crucecita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amancio Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Gualterio Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunderland AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Lander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crucecita AFC's Abelardo Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Lander in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Lander in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Llorian saved Crucecita AFC from getting behind. Sunderland AFC's Amancio Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Policarpio in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, one of Sunderland AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sunderland AFC. If Bonifacio Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Policarpio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Damian Naelio in the 51st minute really tested Abelardo Llorian's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gualterio Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Emeterio came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Crucecita AFC's Bonifacio Policarpio. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Policarpio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Crucecita AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rogelio Txaran hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Lander got free with Abelardo Llorian in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sunderland AFC's Amancio Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Tanio in the 67th minute of play. Abelardo Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Lander in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Sunderland AFC's Bernardino Evangelista got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fermin Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Emeterio having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Crucecita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Theobald. A hard shot by Horacio Cordaryal from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Abelardo Llorian's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Crucecita AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
