When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pedrinho Bautista sped through Stegmann's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauricio Remigio. After a rather tough play, Ongamira's Felix Mosen got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Bautista in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Remigio saved Stegmann from getting behind. Stegmann's Mauricio Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Maurino in the 19th minute of play. Cosme Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pedrinho Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mauricio Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Pedrinho Bautista could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Mauricio Remigio however easily saved by the left post. Ongamira's Orlando Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Emiliano Naelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Bautista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Mauricio Remigio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emiliano Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mauricio Remigio made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Stegmann got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Ubelteso. Ongamira's Emiliano Naelio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mauricio Remigio but with some difficulty. 42 minutes into the match, Stegmann's goalkeeper Mauricio Remigio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Bautista. With his leg Mauricio Remigio managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Ongamira's Pedrinho Bautista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Bautista made a kick off. When Felix Mosen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ongamira's protests and gave Felix Mosen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Felix Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Bautista in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Remigio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes of play Ongamira's Felix Mosen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cosme Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Samuel Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Remigio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Cuarto in the 63rd minute of play. Orlando Maurino struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mauricio Remigio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ongamira. 68 minutes into the game, Cleto Formerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stegmann's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ongamira the free kick. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stegmann! The referee gave Ongamira a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emiliano Naelio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stegmann's Mauricio Remigio. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Cuarto in the 75th minute of play forced Stegmann's goalkeeper Mauricio Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Stegmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Godfredo Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Samuel Cuarto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stegmann's Mauricio Remigio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Remigio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Maurino in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Emiliano Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Remigio. Stegmann's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Naelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 94 minutes into the match, Stegmann's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Maurino came free, but Mauricio Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Remigio having to interfere. Ongamira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
