Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Tigre's Arsenio James started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Arsenio James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Manuelo came free, but Pastor Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Genaro Guillelme from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Pastor Vistruario's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Israel Itzaina could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Pastor Vistruario however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio James came free, but Pastor Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Itzaina got free with Pastor Vistruario in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Israel Itzaina struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Pastor Vistruario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre. Virgilio Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Pastor Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Manuelo in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio James. After having played for 46 minutes, Israel Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Itzaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Herauso to make the kick off. Guaberto Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Madeo having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Marciano Madeo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Herauso. Cornelio Lander charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Lander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cuervo FC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Marciano Madeo managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Cuervo FC's Guaberto Herauso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Itzaina in the 61st minute of play forced Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio James, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Arsenio James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Ihintza during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cuervo FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eduardo Ihintza hit a great ball. Pastor Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Florinio in the 69th minute of play. If Arsenio James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arsenio James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tigre's Arsenio James got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cornelio Lander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cornelio Lander hit a great ball. Tigre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
