The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, Cristobal Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Arrechines's Sebastian Orlo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Denis Hernando but with some difficulty. Alonzo Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Totakoxe having to interfere. Cristobal Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Celipe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes, Atraucó AFC's Damian Froila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teofilo Totakoxe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atraucó AFC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Enaut got free with Denis Hernando in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Atraucó AFC's Denis Hernando got control of the ball when Apolo Enaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Arrechines's Apolo Enaut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Constantino Erlantz's late challenge caught a Atraucó AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atraucó AFC booed when Arrechines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teofilo Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Tulio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Atraucó AFC's Alonzo Domenec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Totakoxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Cristobal Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amador Millan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrechines's protests and gave Amador Millan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atraucó AFC booed when Arrechines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Alonzo Domenec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilo Totakoxe. The goal made the score 1-2. Teofilo Totakoxe made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alonzo Domenec sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Arrechines booed when Atraucó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Dalmau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Denis Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Enaut in the 77th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Eliseo Menendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atraucó AFC and the Arrechines players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Atraucó AFC's Teofilo Totakoxe threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristobal Tulio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Apolo Enaut struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Denis Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrechines. The supporters of Arrechines booed when Atraucó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Arrechines's Primitivo Macerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristobal Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Totakoxe having to interfere. When the match was over Atraucó AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arrechines throughout the match.
