Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Popoy's Lino Rubio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Ponc in the 4th minute of play. Blas Kaxen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Simon Clis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Porvenir's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lino Rubio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Blas Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Popoy's Blas Kaxen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simon Clis. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Blas Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Clis having to interfere. If Blas Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir's zone, Lino Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Clis came out of the goal and Lino Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gaston Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Popoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Federico Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Xabier. Popoy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lino Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Simon Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cleto Koldo hit a great ball. Simon Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rubio in the 43rd minute of the match. Blas Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Kaxen in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Lino Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvenir's Simon Clis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Benet was the one to do the kick off. Blas Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Clis having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Lino Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rubio came free, but Simon Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Federico Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Kaxen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Clis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Simon Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rubio in the 61st minute of play. Santo Ponc struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gaston Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvenir. Simon Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Kaxen in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rubio in the 69th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Simon Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Popoy's Gaston Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Benet in the 71st minute of play. The corner ended in Vicente Quilino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Porvenir's Simon Clis did a great save. If Lino Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porvenir's goalkeeper Simon Clis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Lino Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Popoy and the Porvenir players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Popoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Popoy's goalkeeper Gaston Xabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Ponc. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Benet in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Xabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Porvenir's Santo Ponc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Xabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Porvenir walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
