After 16 played minutes, Trinchera AFC's Ubaldo Ricart shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emiliano Ciarrocchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trinchera AFC reached it. In the 19th minute Manuel Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ciarrocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rogelio Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guayavitos F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Benedicto Benat hit a great ball. Rogelio Orlondon took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Sadurni. Sergio Sadurni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 35th minute Manuel Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ciarrocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Zapatero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trinchera AFC's zone, Cipriano Zapatero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Sadurni came out of the goal and Cipriano Zapatero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Guayavitos F.C made a substitution. Gogo Lugo replaced Miguel Brais. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Zapatero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Guayavitos F.C's Cipriano Zapatero made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Sadurni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trinchera AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cipriano Zapatero 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. A collision led to Trinchera AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ubaldo Ricart hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guayavitos F.C's Diego Panpili got a free kick in the 64th minute. Emiliano Ciarrocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Cambranes in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Trinchera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Zapatero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Cipriano Zapatero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Sadurni, 0-4. Sergio Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ciarrocchi having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Guayavitos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pagomari came free, but Emiliano Ciarrocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rogelio Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trinchera AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guayavitos F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
