An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Che in the 13th minute of play forced Chepes's goalkeeper Eugenio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Tuste in the 26th minute of the match. Esteban Etxatxu came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfonso Lonzo could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Polanco Football Club's goalkeeper Alfonso Lonzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Etxatxu. Alfonso Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Tuste in the 33rd minute of the match. Alfonso Lonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Alonzo Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nabar having to interfere. Francisco Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nabar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Polanco Football Club's zone, Alonzo Tuste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Lonzo came out of the goal and Alonzo Tuste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelio Kepa's late challenge caught a Chepes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Kepa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Polanco Football Club's Cornelio Kepa got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alfonso Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nabar having to interfere. Segundo Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eugenio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Francisco Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polanco Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Francisco Polentzi lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Eugenio Nabar. When Alonzo Tuste came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chepes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Tuste couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Victorino Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polanco Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepes the free kick. After 73 played minutes Polanco Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Cutberto. In the 75thth minute of the game Alonzo Tuste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polanco Football Club's Alfonso Lonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes, Nemesio Leizarraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chepes and the Polanco Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteban Etxatxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Lonzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Etxatxu ran back to his position shaking his head.
