Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Conrado Eutropio made a great header on Aguirres's corner, it was just that Bolívar FC's Godfredo Cresencio managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 9 minutes, Eleuterio Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolívar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Shantala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Bolívar FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Cresencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Cloyo. Eleuterio Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baltasar Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 minutes of play, Bolívar FC's Eleuterio Shantala made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Papo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Shantala in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Baltasar Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Victorio Leocadio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguirres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolívar FC the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Bolívar FC's Delmiro Bernaldo tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ariel Teodor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Godfredo Cresencio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute of the match Silvestre Cloyo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Cresencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Teodor in the 36th minute of play forced Bolívar FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ariel Teodor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godfredo Cresencio, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Aguirres's Victorio Leocadio got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Cloyo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bolívar FC's Delmiro Bernaldo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Silvestre Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Godfredo Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Shantala in the 61st minute of play forced Aguirres's goalkeeper Constantino Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Eleuterio Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolívar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Shantala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Derwin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Eleuterio Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Cresencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Silvestre Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguirres's Silvestre Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aguirres's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
