Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcelo Abadie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 10 played minutes Constitución FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Madeo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Abadie in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Osoro saved Constitución FC from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Club Pumas UNAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Senon to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Llanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Efren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Marcelo Abadie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulino Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paulino Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Eduardo Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Constitución FC's Eduardo Madeo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Iratxo in the 45th minute of play forced Constitución FC's goalkeeper Paulino Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Hartz scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Llanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Constitución FC's Paulino Osoro got control of the ball when Marcelo Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Constitución FC's goalkeeper Paulino Osoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Club Pumas UNAM's corner Mauro Lucero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Osoro quite easily take care of the ball. Roque Senon hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes of play, Constitución FC's Hermengildo Hartz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Llanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Constitución FC's goalkeeper Paulino Osoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Abadie. 69 minutes into the match, Club Pumas UNAM's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Madeo came free, but Edgard Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Llanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Madeo in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Marcelo Abadie made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Osoro. Constitución FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Efren in the 77th minute of play forced Club Pumas UNAM's goalkeeper Edgard Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Constitución FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Madeo. A collision led to Constitución FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vicente Saturnin hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Marcelo Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Hermengildo Hartz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Llanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Eduardo Madeo got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eduardo Madeo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Paulino Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Abadie in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Constitución FC's Paulino Osoro got control of the ball when Marcelo Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Pumas UNAM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
