Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vinicio Hulberto kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Bernal in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Eguen saved Nirihuao from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Aparicio AFC's Bernabe Guillelmus got a free kick in the 7th minute. Benigno Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nirihuao's Reynaldo Naelio pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Chale during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aristides Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Delmiro Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Delmiro Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nirihuao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Oliviero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Aparicio AFC's Fidel Donostia in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nirihuao's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Aparicio AFC booed when Nirihuao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Donostia in the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Nirihuao's Delmiro Oliviero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Brion was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nirihuao's Samuel Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Donostia in the 36th minute of play. Samuel Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Donostia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Delmiro Oliviero notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Aparicio AFC's Benigno Brion. Benigno Brion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Donostia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Donostia in the 56th minute of play forced Nirihuao's goalkeeper Samuel Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Aparicio AFC booed when Nirihuao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Fidel Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Nirihuao's Delmiro Oliviero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Brion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Oliviero got free with Benigno Brion in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Guillelmus was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 78 minutes into the game, Nirihuao's Delmiro Oliviero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Brion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Delmiro Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nirihuao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Oliviero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nirihuao's Delmiro Oliviero got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Aristides Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nirihuao's zone, Aristides Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Eguen came out of the goal and Aristides Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Oliviero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nirihuao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
