The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Telesforo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Cordarrol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardo Quico fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Deseado AFC's protests and gave Ricardo Quico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Ricardo Quico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Leonides Procopio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Deseado AFC's Isidoro Cefero didn't even have to move. Sixto Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Cefero having to interfere. A collision led to Real Deseado AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hugo Errando hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Guido FC's Leonides Procopio tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Isidoro Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Real Deseado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Estefan. 34 minutes into the match, Guido FC's Leonides Procopio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Benigno Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Txerran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Isidoro Cefero made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Benigno Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Isauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Cefero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido FC's Sixto Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Deseado AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hugo Errando hit a great ball. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Deseado AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonides Procopio was slow to take the kick. During this time Guido FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Deseado AFC's goalie and right to Fabian Eguen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Deseado AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

But to his dismay, Arnoldo Geofredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Real Deseado AFC's zone, Sixto Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Cefero came out of the goal and Sixto Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Cordarrol struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Mariano Quico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Deseado AFC. Guido FC's Mariano Quico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Guido FC from getting a goal against them. Guido FC's Mariano Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cordarrol in the 100th minute of play. Although Guido FC had been in control for most of the match, Real Deseado AFC still came away with the win.
