In the 10th minute, Halit Ziya Emekli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Patricio Teofilio fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rogue Squadron's protests and gave Patricio Teofilio a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Rogue Squadron got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Teofilio. Anastasio Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Rogue Squadron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Halit Ziya Emekli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arsenio Isias made a huge save. In the 48th minute Anastasio Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Bernard to make the kick off. In the 71st minute Halit Ziya Emekli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Pello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arsenio Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Andreasson made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Anastasio Bernard sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Rogue Squadron:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of americalers:s goal. The goalkeeper, Thomas Andreasson, was totally fooled by americalers's Matias Cordarrell, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Anastasio Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. americalers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
