Everardo Millrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Leones. After a rather tough play, CF Leones's Faustino Osasun got a free kick in the 16th minute. Everardo Millrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Apolo Rufio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Everardo Millrick was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Grütly FC's Everardo Millrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Grütly FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to CF Leones getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diego Galindo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Leones's Apolo Rufio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Everardo Millrick. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Grütly FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Urdaspal. Apolo Rufio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Millrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Everardo Millrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Rufio in the 61st minute of play. Everardo Millrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Galindo in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Grütly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Rufio came free, but Everardo Millrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Diego Galindo made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Millrick. Grütly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Delmar Abeita came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Grütly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Abeita couldn't finish the play. Grütly FC's Everardo Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Galindo in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute Diego Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CF Leones were victorious despite being under pressure from Grütly FC for much of the match.
