Astros de México CF's Herminio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Santana in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to FalconsB FCB getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emilio Gaztea hit a great ball. Donato Errolan struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astros de México CF. Cristo Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Herminio Eyague made a huge save. Herminio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cristo Jakue sent off a good shot on target. Santos Santanas short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Herminio Eyague to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Wilfredo Quintan in the 25th minute really tested Herminio Eyague's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Donato Errolan scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herminio Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Jakue's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Herminio Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Santana in the 41st minute. With his leg Herminio Eyague managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when FalconsB FCB's Santos Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Astros de México CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Jakue came free, but Herminio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Herminio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Jakue in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Astros de México CF's Fulgencio Orkatz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Cristo Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Santos Santana struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Herminio Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FalconsB FCB. When Cristo Jakue came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FalconsB FCB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Jakue couldn't finish the play. Herminio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of FalconsB FCB booed when Astros de México CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Dei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, FalconsB FCB's Nicolas Lastur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herminio Eyague came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FalconsB FCB reached it. If Cristo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FalconsB FCB's Cristo Jakue got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Astros de México CF's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Santana came free, but Herminio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
