Paulino Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Fidele in the 20th minute of the match. Paulino Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Astros de México CF booed when Chantico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luis Javiar came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Chantico FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 40th minute, Elvio Patxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Angel Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astros de México CF's Herminio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Astros de México CF from getting a goal against them. Iker Dei hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Chantico FC's Elvio Patxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Chantico FC's Luis Javiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herminio Eyague. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. Eriberto Jacob hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Paulino Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Errolan in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Astros de México CF's Fulgencio Orkatz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Orkatz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Rey saved Chantico FC from getting behind. Elvio Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Herminio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angel Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astros de México CF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chantico FC had controlled the match.
