KCP Nova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pejelagartos de Tabasco the free kick. After 3 played minutes KCP Nova got a freekick which was hit by Roman Jax. Aristides Balendin charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Balendin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pejelagartos de Tabasco's Aristides Balendin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's Benito Landero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Jax in the 8th minute of play. Luis Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Jerardo in the 11th minute of play. Santos Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Landero having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Pejelagartos de Tabasco's goalkeeper Benito Landero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Oihenarte. Benito Landero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Oihenarte in the 27th minute of the match. Roman Jax struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Benito Landero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KCP Nova. Santos Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Perpinya was slow to take the kick. During this time KCP Nova's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Oihenarte got free with Benito Landero in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Oihenarte in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Landero saved Pejelagartos de Tabasco from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Oihenarte made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pejelagartos de Tabasco's zone, Santos Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Landero came out of the goal and Santos Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Oihenarte in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Landero saved Pejelagartos de Tabasco from getting behind. After 57 minutes Pejelagartos de Tabasco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Perpinya who took care of the corner kick. In the 61st minute Roman Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Landero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Oihenarte in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Landero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that KCP Nova were the better team. KCP Nova's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
