Spectators: 7434 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 6) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Mannie kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, GACEGA's Paulo Mannie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Landero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Paulo Mannie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. GACEGA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benito Landero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Mannie in the 17th minute. Aristides Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Quin having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Ernesto Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Balendin in the 38th minute of the match. Aristides Balendin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Quin having to make a save. If Aristides Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's Iker Jerardo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Balendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Iker Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Aristides Balendin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Quin having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Iker Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pejelagartos de Tabasco and the GACEGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fidel Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Benito Landero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Aristides Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maximiliano Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Maximiliano Quin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pejelagartos de Tabasco. Aristides Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Balendin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Quin having to make a save. With a little luck, GACEGA's Maximiliano Quin got control of the ball when Iker Jerardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85th play minutes Fidel Jacob shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Benito Landero and just under the crossbar into goal.
