With a little luck, Guanaco FC's Abel Bastia got control of the ball when Fu Xiong Qiang tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Fernan Ourente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Bastia. Fernan Ourente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Francisco Fertus came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Guanaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Fertus couldn't finish the play. Nestor Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Fertus in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sun Yuan Qian got free with Abel Bastia in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 29 minutes, Severo Ceandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escorpius FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Ceandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Escorpius FC's Albert Tano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Bastia. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Guanaco FC's Abel Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Ceandro in the 35th minute of play. Abel Bastia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Ceandro in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Guanaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Tano came free, but Abel Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Escorpius FC's Xinto Leston got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute of the match Delmar Betadur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Dolfos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albert Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sun Yuan Qian in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Albert Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Tano in the 61st minute of play forced Guanaco FC's goalkeeper Abel Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
