Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel Villarreal kicked off to start the match. Adolfo Escalantes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Alonso Tobar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee ignored Redruth's protests and gave Odir Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Ochoa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alejandro Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bermudez having to interfere. The supporters of Slough booed when Redruth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Slough's Alonso Tobar got control of the ball when Adolfo Escalante tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Adolfo Escalante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Escalante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Tobar having to interfere. If Gabriel Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Tobar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Escalante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Redruth's Christian Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Villarreal in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Escalante in the 54th minute of play forced Slough's goalkeeper Alonso Tobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Redruth's Adolfo Escalante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonso Tobar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ivan Salguero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Adolfo Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Alejandro Morales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Escalante in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonso Tobar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Morales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Christian Bermudez made a huge save. Alvaro Ochoa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Redruth getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Angel Fornos hit a great ball. Gabriel Villarreal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Bermudez having to make a save. Alejandro Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Christian Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriel Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
