In the 18th minute Alvaro Villatoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Zaldaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Victorino kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Josue Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joselito Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio García, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ovidio Zaldaña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Villatoro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Josue Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joselito Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Alvaro Villatoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venganza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Villatoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hackney getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. William Victorino hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avilio Salguero during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Avilio Salguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alvaro Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Villatoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Zaldaña was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Rafael Alas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ovidio Zaldaña made a huge save. If Antonio García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Venganza's Alvaro Villatoro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Zaldaña. Ovidio Zaldaña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venganza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
