Spectators: 7920 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eraldo Renderos started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Renderos in the 4th minute of play forced East Dereham FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Padilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Renderos in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Humberto Mendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Uranga was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Reggae Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Mendez came free, but Fabio Uranga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eraldo Renderos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joselito Rey hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Humberto Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Uranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Baltazar Gutierrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reggae Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. East Dereham FC's Leopoldo Padilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save East Dereham FC from getting a goal against them. When Benji Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the East Dereham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benji Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Fabio Uranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Mendez in the 34th minute of play. Humberto Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fabio Uranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Reggae Boys got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Pedrozo. East Dereham FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Reggae Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milton Mayen took the corner. The corner led East Dereham FC's Milton Mayen to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabio Uranga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Baltazar Gutierrez fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reggae Boys's protests and gave Baltazar Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. Baltazar Gutierrez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes Reggae Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Milton Mayen who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Felipe Huezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Uranga having to interfere. Benji Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Renderos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Baltazar Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leopoldo Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Mendez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Uranga. That made the score 1-2 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. East Dereham FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
