Gatwick FC's attack was well implemented in the 21st minute, but when Agustin Lara was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Raúl Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Amaya having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Raúl Prado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aslan FC's Gilberto Amaya. Gilberto Amaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustin Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ulises Zepeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Aslan FC booed when Gatwick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Aslan FC's Pedro Ventura threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovani Barraza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovani Barraza was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustin Lara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Amaya. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Lara in the 57th minute of play forced Aslan FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Amaya made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Raúl Prado sent off a good shot on target. Misael Contrera's late challenge caught a Gatwick FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Misael Contrera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aslan FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Misael Contrera hit a great ball. Raúl Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gilberto Amaya made a huge save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gatwick FC's goalie and right to Guillermo Díaz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gatwick FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Prado got free with Gilberto Amaya in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Amaya having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Aslan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Lara came free, but Gilberto Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Pedrozo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Gatwick FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
