Spectators: 7999 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Omar Navas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Isaac Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Manuel Liborio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Félix Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Omar Navas fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia's protests and gave Omar Navas a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Liborio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th match minute, Revelación was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Posadas to maneuver through the defense. Félix Mora was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Libardo Cerna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Patricio Lara made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Libardo Cerna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revelación's supporters rose to their feet, but Libardo Cerna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Félix Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Omar Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Velis charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Velis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Revelación got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Velis.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Félix Mora to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Isaac Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Omar Navas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Liborio was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Olimpia's Patricio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Velis in the 60th minute of play. Revelación's Manuel Liborio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Revelación from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Mora came free, but Patricio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libardo Cerna in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Omar Navas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Liborio, 0-2. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia's goalkeeper Patricio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
