The referee showed Fidel Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Lozano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rolando Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Glastonbury's zone, Rony Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Pinho came out of the goal and Rony Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Glastonbury's Fidel Alvarenga got a free kick in the 14th minute. Edgar Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Mendoza in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Lozano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rochford's zone, Edgar Mendoza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Lozano came out of the goal and Edgar Mendoza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Dubon during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Mendoza in the 30th minute of the match. Glastonbury's Augusto Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Arellano in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Edgar Mendoza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rochford's Pablo Lozano. Pablo Lozano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute Rolando Arellano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Pinho made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Rony Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Rony Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rochford players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glastonbury were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Velis to make the kick off. Edgar Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Henry Velis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Lozano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Augusto Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Arellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Henry Velis came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Glastonbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Velis couldn't finish the play. Rochford's Rony Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Velis in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rony Pimentel scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes in the game, Henry Velis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pablo Lozano having to interfere. Edgar Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pablo Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Arellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Glastonbury eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
