Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Zelaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Bautista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Fakenham City's Rolando Medina got a free kick in the 29th minute. Arturo Pacheco might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Bautista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 31stth minute of the game Ovidio Zelaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fakenham City's Ramon Bautista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Zelaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Fakenham City's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Zelaya came free, but Ramon Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Bautista came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa's Ernesto Ramirez. But to his dismay, Ernesto Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rolando Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fakenham City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ovidio Zelaya made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Ernesto Ramirez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ovidio Zelaya came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramon Bautista could save by the left post. After 54 minutes Fakenham City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arturo Pacheco who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Zelaya got free with Ramon Bautista in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fakenham City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arturo Pacheco was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Pacheco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramon Bautista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fakenham City's Ramon Bautista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Fakenham City from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Fakenham City's Waldir Collado got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Waldir Collado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domen Grubelnik scored 0-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Bautista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domen Grubelnik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Bautista came out and tried to block the shot, but Domen Grubelnik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. Domen Grubelnik didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 82nd minute. Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa's Lars Pilgren got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Domen Grubelnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
