When Marcos Aguirrez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Burton upon Trent City fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Aguirrez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Carrillo saved Tenbury Wells from getting behind. After having played for 29 minutes, Erick Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenbury Wells's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erick Palma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Carrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Mendoza to make the kick off. Douglas Mendoza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 81st match minute, Burton upon Trent City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Castillo to maneuver through the defense. When Douglas Mendoza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Burton upon Trent City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Mendoza couldn't finish the play. William Fornos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jhonnatan Barragan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Marcos Aguirrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burton upon Trent City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burton upon Trent City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
