Allan Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norwich City's Oswaldo Berrueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Canales in the 29th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Allan Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blackpool's Patricio Barquero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Allan Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Blackpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Guerra couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Berrueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Oswaldo Berrueta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin Canales went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Norwich City's Oswaldo Berrueta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Norwich City from getting a goal against them. Patricio Barquero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Suarez's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blackpool had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
