In the 31st minute, Ismael Cetino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Tottenham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dagoberto Osorio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tottenham's Félix Oporto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Tottenham from getting a goal against them. Dagoberto Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Portillo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Félix Oporto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liversedge City. In the 44th minute, Shawn Bustamante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagoberto Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tottenham's Félix Oporto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Portillo in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Tottenham booed when Liversedge City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Liversedge City defense, Arturo Serrano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rony Ayala. The Liversedge City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rony Ayala should have stopped the shot. Marcos Portillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
