Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Valentin Rohrmoser made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Esterillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rohrmoser came free, but Olman Villafranca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olman Villafranca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Rohrmoser in the 18th minute of the match. Ciudad Colon FC's Napoleon Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Ayala in the 21st minute of play. After 23 played minutes, Esterillos AFC's Gerardo Coto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Napoleon Bermudez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esterillos AFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Esterillos AFC's zone, Valentin Rohrmoser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olman Villafranca came out of the goal and Valentin Rohrmoser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Napoleon Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milton Azofeifa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Nacho Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Napoleon Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Miguel Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Bermudez having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, one of Ciudad Colon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Napoleon Bermudez, was totally fooled by Esterillos AFC's Abelardo Porras, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ciudad Colon FC's Minor Cartin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Minor Cartin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olman Villafranca having to interfere. Napoleon Bermudez made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Miguel Navarro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 86 minutes, Valentin Rohrmoser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Colon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Rohrmoser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minor Cartin in the 90th minute of play forced Esterillos AFC's goalkeeper Olman Villafranca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Minor Cartin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Ramirez during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Ramirez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the game, Elvis Murillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esterillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudad Colon FC the free kick. A collision led to Esterillos AFC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Elvis Murillo hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Aurelio Ramirez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olman Villafranca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Esterillos AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
