Spectators: 6795 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 0) SPORTING TICO F.C.'s Paul Garro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Carlos Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orosi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Leon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Leon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Andrei Hernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andrei Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Andrei Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Leon in the 16th minute. Johnny Ortiz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Orosi FC's Carlos Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Coronado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Andrei Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Carlos Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Hernandez having to interfere. Andrei Hernandez was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Romulo Coronado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romulo Coronado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Carlos Leon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Hernandez. SPORTING TICO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Leon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Coronado made a kick off. SPORTING TICO F.C.'s Andrei Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Leon in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTING TICO F.C.'s zone, Carlos Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Hernandez came out of the goal and Carlos Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Paul Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrei Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Coronado in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Carlos Leon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Romulo Coronado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Coronado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Andrei Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SPORTING TICO F.C.'s Henry Oreamuno got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTING TICO F.C.'s zone, Carlos Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Hernandez came out of the goal and Carlos Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Orosi FC fully deserved thier win.
