In the 7th minute Carlos Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Jara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Orosi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Coronado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Orosi FC's zone, Abel Merino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Millot came out of the goal and Abel Merino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ciudad Quesada's Uriel Parra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Millot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Orosi FC's Dennis Millot got control of the ball when Uriel Parra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Ortiz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Parra got free with Dennis Millot in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ciudad Quesada booed when Orosi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Millot was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pablo Rojas. 29 minutes into the match, Orosi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Merino came free, but Dennis Millot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Orosi FC's Carlos Leon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Jara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Pablo Rojas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Orosi FC's Dennis Millot didn't even have to move. Romulo Jara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Coronado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Abel Merino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Millot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Parra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dennis Millot made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Uriel Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudad Quesada's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Parra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Millot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 54th minute of the match Orosi FC got a corner. Ciudad Quesada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovanni Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot by Alvin Guillen from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Romulo Jara's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ciudad Quesada's Romulo Jara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Ciudad Quesada from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Orosi FC's Inocencio Aguilar got a free kick in the 64th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ciudad Quesada's Pablo Rojas tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Uriel Parra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dennis Millot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Millot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Carlos Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Romulo Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Merino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Millot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carlos Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Jara having to interfere. Carlos Leon took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Jara. Romulo Jara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 91st minute, Inocencio Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Orosi FC's zone, Uriel Parra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Millot came out of the goal and Uriel Parra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Orosi FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Inocencio Aguilar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Abel Merino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudad Quesada's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Merino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Millot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Orosi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
