The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ticmar getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Orlondo Eiros hit a great ball. Lorencio Fontecha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlondo Eiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garoa Caballeria having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sapo y Soplón's Lorencio Fontecha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urdin Carro. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. After 34 played minutes Ticmar got a freekick which was hit by Orlondo Eiros. Lorencio Fontechas short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Urdin Carro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Ticmar's zone, Lorencio Fontecha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urdin Carro came out of the goal and Lorencio Fontecha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sapo y Soplón defense, Narciso Urdapileta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garoa Caballeria. The Sapo y Soplón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garoa Caballeria should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 60 played minutes Ticmar got a freekick which was hit by Bastiaro Cañucal. In the 64th minute of the match Lisandro Arrateguibel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urdin Carro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patricio Navedo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Sapo y Soplón made a substitution. Bento Aranzabe replaced Atarratze Ovin. In the 66th match minute, Ticmar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Navedo to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Sapo y Soplón's Gualterio Evangelista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urdin Carro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sapo y Soplón reached it. Urdin Carro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorencio Fontecha's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Orlondo Eiros was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Sapo y Soplón booed when Ticmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlondo Eiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorencio Fontecha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urdin Carro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Eli Villamor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eli Villamor struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Urdin Carro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapo y Soplón. After a defensive mix-up in Ticmar's zone, Lorencio Fontecha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urdin Carro came out of the goal and Lorencio Fontecha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urdin Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorencio Fontecha in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Sapo y Soplón booed when Ticmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaro Cañucal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
