After a defensive mix-up in Ticmar's zone, Gaspar Mazuca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urdin Carro came out of the goal and Gaspar Mazuca tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlondo Eiros helped the player get up and apologised. Orlondo Eiros hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carolo Malla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Urdin Carro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ticmar booed when Tolacollo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mederi Zulaica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Narciso Urdapileta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Ilardia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
