If Casomiro Portocarrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millrick Melena in the 9th minute of play forced Yupanqui FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Hevia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loiola Ocerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Casomiro Portocarrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yupanqui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 26th minute, Rencio Peral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Hevia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millrick Melena in the 28th minute of the match. Casomiro Portocarrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Millrick Melena came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Botuayoc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millrick Melena couldn't finish the play. Remicio Liviano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cristobal Hevia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loiola Ocerin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 45 played minutes Botuayoc got a freekick which was hit by Turi Menoyo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rencio Peral made a kick off. Guillerme Ascarraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rencio Peral, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Loiola Ocerin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cristobal Hevia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botuayoc's Turi Menoyo pulled a muscle in his leg after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 55 minutes of play Yupanqui FC's Urtsua Gadea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Yupanqui FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Urtsua Gadea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Botuayoc's zone, Casomiro Portocarrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillerme Ascarraga came out of the goal and Casomiro Portocarrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lesardo Navarrete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillerme Ascarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casomiro Portocarrero in the 83rd minute of play. Dorio Merida in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristobal Hevia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristobal Hevia made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Millrick Melena sent off a good shot on target. Botuayoc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
