When Cresenciano Escapa came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Sicuayoj FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cresenciano Escapa couldn't finish the play. Fanuco Callejo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casomiro Labaja in the 11th minute. Rios Gili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vigil Mendizabal in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sicuayoj FBC's Ambrosio Ascarretazabal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Ricardo Guarnizo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rios Gili skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Querapi FBC's zone, Cresenciano Escapa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanuco Callejo came out of the goal and Cresenciano Escapa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes Querapi FBC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valente Buenahora who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valente Buenahora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fanuco Callejo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rios Gili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vigil Mendizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Vigil Mendizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rios Gili having to interfere. The wind increased when Jacindo Sarra made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Vigil Mendizabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
