Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cortez Cascales to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, FC Pachacute!!!'s Enmanuel Pedros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Hevia. Cristobal Hevia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Fero Aguiriano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pachacute!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fero Aguiriano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cortez Cascales in the 60th minute of play forced Yupanqui FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Hevia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lesardo Navarrete during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Urtsua Gadea fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupanqui FC's protests and gave Urtsua Gadea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Yupanqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsua Gadea to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cortez Cascales couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Pachacute!!! had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
