The audience thought a goal was coming when Gartzi Salas got free with Cristobal Hevia in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lesardo Navarrete fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupanqui FC's protests and gave Lesardo Navarrete a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Yupanqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lesardo Navarrete to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Estanqu were awarded a corner. Urtsin Gavela went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Urtsin Gavela almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yupanqui FC's Cristobal Hevia did a great save. After 27 minutes, Rencio Peral made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Estanqu's Oihenarte Bretal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristobal Hevia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsin Gavela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Montane charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristobal Hevia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentine Benegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentine Benegas was the one to do the kick off. Celino Escorcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Hevia having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Valentine Benegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cristobal Hevia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Yupanqui FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Belasko Gegundez hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Yupanqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gartzi Salas came free, but Cristobal Hevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Lesardo Navarrete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celino Escorcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristobal Hevia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gartzi Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Hevia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Benegas in the 91st minute of play. Estanqu were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
