In the 11th minute of the match Columbo Alvaredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faas Maestri skillfully saved the ball. Xines Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarvi Õmblus's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A collision led to Bestias getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Claus Porres hit a great ball. Faas Maestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnalt Illescas in the 18th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Tarvi Õmblus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarvi Õmblus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Xines Lugo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarvi Õmblus was the one to do the kick off. Xines Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pearl Jam. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tarvi Õmblus put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Xines Lugo. After 69 minutes, César Cueto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pearl Jam and the Bestias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Pearl Jam got a freekick which was hit by César Cueto. When Claus Porres fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bestias's protests and gave Claus Porres a yellow card for diving instead. Claus Porres hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Tarvi Õmblus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xines Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tarvi Õmblus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xines Lugo having to make a save. When Pearl Jam's Tarvi Õmblus in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bestias's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Tarvi Õmblus sped through Bestias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xines Lugo. Xines Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Mariano Okaka Chuka in the 86th minute of the match. Xines Lugo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pearl Jam's Tarvi Õmblus. But to his dismay, Tarvi Õmblus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Xines Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Laurendi's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
