Bestias's Xines Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chucho Jibaja in the 23rd minute of play. Marquez Urtuuste struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Xines Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for arcangeles. In the 30th minute, Columbo Alvaredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Ulises Greña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xines Lugo skillfully saved the ball. Chucho Jibaja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xines Lugo having to make a save. 36 minutes into the game, Claus Porres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bestias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave arcangeles the free kick. Ricardo Prabes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gartzen Arizabal in the 46th minute. Arnalt Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Prabes having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnalt Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gartzen Arizabal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of arcangeles's Ricardo Prabes. Ricardo Prabes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Bestias getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cirilo Agranja hit a great ball. Bestias's Xines Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chucho Jibaja in the 60th minute of play. Xines Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucho Jibaja in the 63rd minute of the match. Gartzen Arizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Prabes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chucho Jibaja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xines Lugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the arcangeles defense, Arnalt Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Prabes. The arcangeles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Prabes should have stopped the shot. If Arnalt Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Chucho Jibaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. arcangeles's Marquez Urtuuste got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bestias were victorious despite being under pressure from arcangeles for much of the match.
