Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerardo Santibañez started the match with the kick off. A collision led to UD ZAS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ayoví Daroca hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Santibañez came free, but Romero Cerradelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, C. D Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Eguiara came free, but Benedykt Pracki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gerardo Santibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. D Leones's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Santibañez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romero Cerradelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD ZAS's goalkeeper Romero Cerradelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesar Tendiero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Gerardo Santibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romero Cerradelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vera came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benedykt Pracki could save by the left post. UD ZAS's Romero Cerradelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Santibañez in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Oscar Eguiara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benedykt Pracki, passed just outside the right post. When C. D Leones's Gerardo Santibañez in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD ZAS's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Cesar Tendiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. D Leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Tendiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Eguiara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romero Cerradelo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Christobal Lomas sent off a good shot on target. Romero Cerradelo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dani Cebadilla. Cesar Tendiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Romero Cerradelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, C. D Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Eguiara came free, but Benedykt Pracki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Pracki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Vera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cesar Tendiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Tendiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Santibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Romero Cerradelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedykt Pracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Vera in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Monterrey during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UD ZAS booed when C. D Leones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Monterrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Ayoví Daroca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD ZAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ayoví Daroca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Dani Cebadilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romero Cerradelo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded C. D Leones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UD ZAS.
